John Brady, Woodview, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on 13th June 2026 suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Cecila and Tommy, brother Thomas and sister Margaret.

Forever loved and missed by daughters Laura (Dean), Joanne (Sean), son Thomas, sisters Marian, Catherine, Cecila and Marcella, brothers Joseph, Patsy, Denis and Tony, grandchildren Keila, Lily, Edie, Caragh and Jayden, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Monday 15th June from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral on Tuesday to arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Burial afterwards in St. Anne’s Cemetery. The funeral mass can be viewed live via St Anne's Church Webcam.

Pauline Brady (née Sheridan)

Drumalee, Cavan

Pauline Brady (nee Sheridan), Drumalee, Cavan.

Pauline passed away peacefully in her 91st year in the excellent care of College View Nursing Home on the morning of the 14th June 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Eamon and her cherished son Eamon, her parents John James and Mary Jane, sisters Mary, Annie and Jane and brother Paddy.

Pauline will be deeply missed and always remembered with so much love by her beloved children and their families - son Noel, Ronna and grandson Ethan - daughter in law Donna and grandchildren Heloise, Logan, Theo and Conan - son Martin, Deborah and grandchildren Aislinn and Aidan - son Joe, Aoife and grandchildren Callum, Alex and Oscar - daughter Pauline, Laurence Flood and granddaughter Ruby. Pauline will also be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews on both the Brady and Sheridan sides, extended family and relatives, neighbours and her many good friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Removal arriving to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan on Tuesday evening for 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 0'clock. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) Brady, Drumcrow, Stradone, Co. Cavan, Saturday, 13th June 2026. Michael passed away in the loving care of the staff of College View Nursing Home, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his parents James and Lena (Crosserlough), brother Matty, sisters Breege, Betty and Ellen, wife Carmel, and son Michael Martin.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Sheamy and Shane, daughter Lisa, grandchildren Jodie, Michael, Caleb and Willow, sister Mary, brothers Jamesy (Maire) and Benny (Eileen), nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbours.

Mary (May) Fitzpatrick (nee Smith), 15 Dunmanus Road, Cabra, Dublin and formerly Clifferna, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Sunday, June 14th, peacefully at The Mater Hospital Dublin, following a short illness surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Sean, daughter of the late Katie & John.

Deeply regretted by her loving son John, daughter-in-law Leona and her adoring grandchildren Adam, Isabella and Dylan. Sadly missed by her brothers Michael and Aiden, sisters Kate Mary, Bridie, Angela and Patricia, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

It is with regret that we announce the death of Patrick (Paddy) Burns, 4 Bree Upper, Castleblayney, Monaghan. 13th June 2026, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Peggy Burns, sister Kathleen and brother Declan.

Patrick will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife Margaret, his son Declan, partner Jane, much cherished granddaughter Talia and by immediate Burns and Cawley families, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Patrick will repose at his home from Sunday 14th June at 7pm - family and close friends welcome and on Monday 15th (all day) and Tuesday 16th June (all day). House Private on Wednesday Morning.

Patrick’s funeral cortège will leave his home on Wednesday morning 17th June at 10.15am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patricia Duffy née Casey, Conabury, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Castleross Retirement Village, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday 14th June 2026.

Predeceased by her brothers Frank Denis and Mack, and her sister Maimie (McVicar).

Deeply regretted, and lovingly missed by her devoted husband Brendan, daughters Brenda (Deon) and Sheila (Damien), sons, Michael (Sonja) and Seamus, her cherished grandchildren, Connor, Alex, Ally, Ryan and Remy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Patricia will repose at her home in Conabury from 2 pm to 9 pm on Monday and on Tuesday from 2 pm until removal at 6 pm arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for 6:30 pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
