Anna Fitzpatrick, née Rapple, Portaliffe, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital on Wednesday 1st July 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John, parents Bridie and John Rapple, siblings Bridie Coleman, Cecil, and Sean. Anna will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Geraldine McCaffrey, son-in-law Brian, granddaughters Deirbhile, Brianna, and Niamh, sisters Kathleen McGearty, Marie Doran, and Geraldine Rapple, brothers Gerald and Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, H12RF78, Dublin Road, Cavan on Friday 3rd July from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm. Anna will leave her home on Saturday morning at 11.30 AM to arrive for funeral Mass at 12 pm in St Brigid’s Church, Killeshandra, followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live via the parish website at https://www.churchtv.ie/killeshandra/

Out of respect for the local residents, please follow the directions of the parking attendants and observe the parking restrictions around the neighbouring houses when visiting Lakelands for the reposing. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
