With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Kevin McNicholas at his home. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Norah, his infant daughter, Laurie, his sister Mary Murphy and his Son in Law, Ray Kearns. Kevin's passing is deeply regretted and he will be forever sadly missed by his loving family, his best friend and Wife of 58 years, Angela (née McKenna), his loving daughters, Imelda, Geraldine (Ian) and Paula (Kevin), his adored grandchildren, Doireann, Aidan, Cáit, Tadhg, Tara, Caoimhe and Eoghan, his sisters, Christine Smith (Nicholas), Betty Stephens, Edna McNicholas, Lena Burke (Greg) his brothers, Eugene (Patricia) and Aidan (Marian). Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing on Wednesday evening in The Village Chapel Of Rest, Mullagh, A82DE28 from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Funeral Mass in St. Kilians Church, Mullagh on Thursday morning at 11am. Followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Con (Cornelius) Byrne, Killycrum and formerly York Street, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Monday 13th July, peacefully, in the care of the staff of Dromore House, St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Jane, daughter Anne, son-in-law Vincent, great grandson Donnacha, parents, brothers and sisters.
Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by his children, Patrick (Pauline), Michael (Julie), Helen, Geraldine (Dermot), Timmy (Brenda), Mary (John), Sinead (Mark), son-in-law Aidan, brother Tony, 27 cherished grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Con will repose at Hughes Funeral Premises, Castleblayney, A75 KC66 on Tuesday from 3:30 pm until removal at 6:30 pm arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for 7 pm.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 am with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery where Con will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Jane.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Malachi and Eileen and his brother Malachi.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Rosemary, his son Dominic (Rita), daughter Annmaree (Dearán), grandchildren Eva, Cian, Grace and Liam, his brothers Robert, Kevin and Michael, his sister Maree, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home on Monday (13/07/2026) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday (14/07/2026) from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. House private at other times please.
Removal on Wednesday (15/07/2026) at 10.30 a.m., arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Calvary Cemetery, Latlurcan.

The death has occurred of Brian Lennon, long time resident of West London and more recently Scotland; formerly of Shanmullagh, Braddox, Co Monaghan. Brian passed away peacefully on Tuesday 23rd June 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his beloved parents, Barney and Catherine, and his infant brother John Patrick.
Brian will be forever loved and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Maura; his loving children, Sinead, Simone, Gary, Brad and Niall; their wives,husband and partner and his grandchildren, Marianne, Cian, Conor, Eilish and Saoirse. Also, his two sisters Tessie Dwan (Pat) Tullycorbet, and Dettie McBride (John) Aghabog, as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Brian's funeral mass will be celebrated in The Most Holy Rosary Church Tullycorbet on Thursday July 16th at 11am, followed by the burial of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred of Edward (Eddie) Owens, Lisabuck, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Sunday 12th July 2026, suddenly and unexpectedly at his residence. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Isabella and his sister, Alice (Healy, Mayo)
Eddie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his nieces, Josephine (Josie, John), Sharon (Martin) and Margaret (Andrew), his nephews, Patrick (Anne-Marie) and Thomas (Martina), his grand-nieces, Ciara, Síofra, Éabha and Alisha, his grand-nephews, Tom, Michael, Niall, Eoin, Aaron, Pádraig, Patrick and Daniel, extended family, wonderful neighbours, many friends, and by all who knew and loved Eddie..
