Bicentenary Weekend to Celebrate 200 Years of St Patrick’s Church

Two centuries of faith, community and heritage will be celebrated in Maudabawn on Saturday, August 22, with a special bicentenary evening at Gallonray House and St Patrick’s Church.

A photographic exhibition marking 200 years of the church and parish will be on display from 7pm, offering visitors an opportunity to look back through the history of the local community.

The celebrations will continue at 8.30pm in Gallonray House with an evening of music, storytelling and songs.

The bicentenary event promises to combine historical memories with live entertainment as the community marks an important milestone in the story of St Patrick’s Church and the parish.
