Forgotten Cattle Routes explored on Templeport Heritage Walk

A 10km moderate heritage walk through Corlough–Templeport parish will take participants along forgotten cattle-droving routes on Sunday, August 23.

The Templeport Heritage Week event takes place from 1pm to 3pm, with Sharon Caffrey leading the Heritage Culture Walk.

Participants will meet at 1pm at Jampa Ling, H14 E286, before setting off to explore historic routes and the stories connected with the landscape.

Toilet facilities are available along the route, while refreshments will be served in the garden of Owendoon House afterwards.

The walk offers an opportunity to experience the parish landscape while discovering a lesser-known aspect of its agricultural and social history.
