Beech Hill LC results buck national trend

Beech Hill College is delighted with the outstanding results achieved by its students this year, including exceptional performances across the cohort and a perfect 625-point score by student Owen Von Tonder.

Deputy Principal John Moylan was delighted with the results achieved. "While it was widely reported that examination results nationally were expected to decline, our experience at Beech Hill College has been quite the opposite. We are incredibly proud of all our students, whose excellent results will provide them with strong pathways to continue their studies and further develop their interests and skills."

A special mention went to Owen Von Tonder, who achieved the maximum 625 points available. Owen, who now has his choice of career pathways, is hoping to study Physical Sciences at Trinity College Dublin following the CAO offers on Wednesday.

Owen's achievement is the highlight of a highly successful year for the college, with students achieving results that reflect their hard work, determination and commitment.

Mr Moylan wished the students every success for the future: "Beyond their academic achievements, we are equally proud of the young people our students have become. They have grown into kind, caring and positive young adults who have much to contribute to society and are a credit to both their families and Beech Hill College."
