Ian Fleming
Woodyhill,Drumkeeran, Arva, Cavan
The death has occurred of Ian Fleming, Woodyhill, Drumkeeran, Arva, Co. Cavan, on Wednesday September 2nd peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff and his family at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Ian will be very sadly missed by his brother Kenneth, sister Winnie Harkness, niece Irene, kind neighbours and all the family circle.
Funeral service in Drumkeeran Presbyterian Church H12 RW29 on Friday 4th September at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired to Drumkeeran Presbyterian Church c/o Magee and Finnegan Funeral Directors or any family member.

Thomasina and Patrick Tobin
Castleblayney, Monaghan
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Thomasina Tobin (née McArdle), formerly of Cabra, Castleblayney, and her beloved husband Patrick (Paddy) Tobin, originally from Wellington, New Zealand, who passed away suddenly while on holiday in Spain on Monday, 24th August 2026.
Much loved parents of Rhea and Séamus, Thomasina and Paddy will be deeply missed by their children, their families, relatives and many friends.
Thomasina, beloved daughter of Tommy and the late Nancy McArdle, was predeceased by her nephew Lewis and niece Sophia. She will be sadly missed by her father Tommy, her siblings Kathy, Julianne, John, Elizabeth, Anne Marie, Cera, Septima and Duana, their partners, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Patrick, beloved son of Clare and Michael Tobin, will be deeply missed by his sisters Selena, Natasha and Katische, niece Grace, nephew Cooper, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends in Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and beyond.
Thomasina and Paddy shared a life filled with love, family and friendship. Their sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved them.
May they rest in eternal peace together.

Macartan View, Monaghan Town, Monaghan / Castleblayney, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Bernadette Ogle, Macartan View, Monaghan Town and formerly of Laurel Hill, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan on Tuesday, September 1st, suddenly at her residence.
Bernadette will be deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her parents, Gerry and Elizabeth, aunts, uncles, cousins, her work colleagues and friends in Antoine House Drumillard, extended family and all who knew and loved her.

Bernadette will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney, A75 NP30
on Friday, September 4th, from 3pm until 7pm.
Removal from Wards funeral home on Saturday morning at 10:40am, proceeding on foot to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for funeral mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
