Paddy (Frank) Donohoe, Carnagh Lower, Loughduff, Co. Cavan. Wednesday 9th September 2026. Peacefully at the General Hospital, Cavan.
Predeceased by his parents Brian and Bridget, sisters Nancy, Mary and Bridie.
Sadly missed by his sisters Peggy Brady, Aughabog, Monaghan. Alice Davey, London. Claire Winchester, New Jersey. Rosetta O' Boyle, Foxrock, Dublin. Carmel Feeley, Ballyhaunis, brothers- in- law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary Ellen, his brothers Seamus, Pat, Frank and Declan.
Remembered with love and will be sadly missed by his loving children Karen, Marion, Gary (Steph) and Barry, his very dear friend Chrissie. his adored 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, his sisters Rose Leddy and Bridie Hawkins, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of David (Davie) Shekleton, Dromore, Bailieborough, Co Cavan (A82 F224) and formerly of Maio House, Teevurcher, Co Meath unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family at home on Monday 7th September 2026. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Violet, his brother Alex and sister Ruth Chambers.
David will be very sadly missed by his dearly beloved and heartbroken wife Jennifer (née Ross, Drumacrutten). Remembered with love by his sisters Ivy, Nora, Doreen and Sandra, mother-in-law Gladys Ross, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.
Reposing at his residence (A82 F224) on Thursday 10th September from 2pm – 8pm. Removal from his residence on Friday at 1:40pm to arrive at Killinkere Parish Church (A82 KH22) for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Maurice Dominic Duffy
Killeevan, Newbliss, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Maurice Dominic Duffy, Great Yarmouth and Killeevan, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan, who passed away peacefully at Kirkley Manor Nursing Home, Lowestoft, with his brother holding his hand, 23rd August 2026.
Maurice will be sadly missed by his brother Patrick (Pauric), nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. A much-loved uncle and grand uncle.
May he Rest in Peace.
Maurice will repose at 14 Yallop Avenue on Thursday, 10th September, from 9am until 4.15pm, before being received into St Mary’s RC Church, Regent Road, Great Yarmouth, at 5pm.
Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, 11th September, at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Gorleston Crematorium at 2pm.
Maurice’s ashes will be brought home to St Laobhin's Church, Killeevan, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan, for Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 16th September, at 12 noon, followed by interment in the Duffy family plot.

Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Wards 1, 3 and 18 at James Paget Hospital and the staff of Kirkley Manor Nursing Home, who looked after Maurice since his severe stroke in February. Their care of Maurice and understanding towards his family are very much appreciated.
Thomasina and Patrick Tobin
Castleblayney, Monaghan
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Thomasina Tobin (née McArdle), formerly of Cabra, Castleblayney, and her beloved husband Patrick (Paddy) Tobin, originally from Wellington, New Zealand, who passed away suddenly while on holiday in Spain on Monday, 24th August 2026.
Much loved parents of Rhea and Séamus, Thomasina and Paddy will be deeply missed by their children, their families, relatives and many friends.
Thomasina, beloved daughter of Tommy and the late Nancy McArdle, was predeceased by her nephew Lewis and niece Sophia. She will be sadly missed by her father Tommy, her siblings Kathy, Julianne, John, Elizabeth, Anne Marie, Cera, Septima and Duana, their partners, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Patrick, beloved son of Clare and Michael Tobin, will be deeply missed by his sisters Selena, Natasha and Katische, niece Grace, nephew Cooper, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends in Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and beyond.
Thomasina and Paddy shared a life filled with love, family and friendship. Their sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved them.
May they rest in eternal peace together.
Thomasina and Patrick (Paddy) will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan (A75 H585), on Thursday, September 17th, from 2pm until 7pm, with family in attendance, where you can pay your respects.
The funeral cortège will travel from Thomasina’s family home in Cabra (strictly private) on Friday morning, September 18th, arriving at Our Lady of Knock Church, Ballintra (A75 F750), for Funeral Mass (public) at 11am.
The funeral cortège will continue onwards for a strictly private cremation service.
