Joseph Moynagh, Lakeview, Tonagh, Mountnugent Co. Cavan, Tuesday, October 6th 2026, in the loving care of his family at home in his 87th year.

Predeceased by his parents, his nine siblings and his beautiful son Peter. He will be sorely missed by his wife and best friend of 58 years Winnie, ​​​​​​his children Sebana (Flor), Breffni (Imelda), Anne (Anthony) and Peter's partner Mark, his beautiful grandchildren Sheena, Gillian and Taylor, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home; Lakeview, Tonagh (A82 E778), on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 2pm - 8pm each day and at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck (A82 DX59) on Saturday from 4pm - 6pm. A Celebration of Joseph's life will take place on Monday 12th October in Crover House Hotel from 10am followed by a Remembrance Service at 12 noon. Burial will place in Ballinacree Cemetery at 2pm.

The death has occurred of Rose Keenan (née Cassidy), Corlatt, Knockatallon, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, who passed away peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, 7th October 2026.

Predeceased by her husband Owen, infant sons, parents James and Molly and brother-in-law Packie.

Rose will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Mary and Geraldine, son Michael, daughter-in-law Yvonne, grandchildren Ella, Conor and Darragh, sister Mena (Frankie May), brother Pat, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Rose.

May She Rest in Peace.

Rose will be reposing at the residence of her daughter Geraldine, Drumcoofoster, Knockatallon, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan (H18 VH05), on Wednesday, 7th October, from 5pm to 9pm and Thursday, 8th October, from 2pm to 8pm.

A shuttle bus will be in operation from the Sliabh Beagh Hotel during wake times.

Patrick (Pat) Brannigan

Derrykinard, Swanns Cross, Rockcorry, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) Brannigan, Derrykinard, Swann's Cross, and late of Mullinary, Ballybay, Co.Monaghan Tuesday 6th October 2026, peacefully at Monaghan General Hospital, surrounded by his adoring family. Pre deceased by his much loved wife Mary. Pat will be sadly missed by his heart broken family, Son Conor, Daughter In Law Briege, Grandchildren Kyle, Josh and Nicole, his Sister Maureen Farrar, U.S.A. Brother In Law, Sister In Law, Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and a wide circle of friends.

MAY PAT'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN ETERNAL PEACE

Remains reposing at St Mary's Hall, Rockcorry, H18XO34 on Wednesday 7th October from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning from his residence to St Mary's Church, Corravacan, H18XF88, arriving for 11 o clock funeral mass. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in Holy Trinity Cemetery, H16XC82.

Peacefully on Tuesday, 6th October 2026, at St.Anne's Nursing Home, Ballybay.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband John.

Alecia will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted family; daughters Lesley and Edyth (Adrian), son Bryan, daughter-in-law Anne. Also her treasured grandchildren Edwin, Leah, Amelia, Andrea (Michael), Vicki (Brian) and Bradley. Great-grandchildren Tom, Hugo, Max, Harry and Grace and the entire family circle.

Funeral service on Thursday, 8th October, in Second Ballybay Presbyterian Church, eircode A75 XV38, at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.
