Update sought on Rural Regeneration and Development projects
An update has been sought from Cavan County Council on developments under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF).
For County Cavan, RRDF investment represents an important opportunity to revitalise town centres, improve community facilities, encourage tourism and attract further private investment.
Fianna Fáil Clifford Kelly is seeking clarity on the progress of existing projects, funding approvals, outstanding applications and anticipated commencement and completion dates.
County Cavan has secured upwards of €35 million in RRDF, supporting significant regeneration projects in Ballyjamesduff, Kingscourt, Cootehill, Virginia, Ballyconnell and Bailieborough.
The motion will go before a meeting of Cavan County Council next week, Monday, November 9,
