Bereavement notices for Cavan and Monaghan
It is with regret that we report the following deaths in counties Cavan and Monaghan, as recorded on RIP.ie within the past 24 hours.
Andy (Andrew) Brady
Granard Road, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan
Andy (Andrew) Brady, Saturday, November 7th, peacefully at home in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Margaret, and his sisters Bridget (Kitson) and Margaret (Crowe). Andy will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Mai, children Marion, Kevin, Andrew, Siobhan, Stephen, Ursula, Finbar and Declan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his adored 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, his nephews, niece, relatives, neighbours & friends.
Andy will be widely remembered within a community where he nurtured strong, deep roots across a lifetime. His love of song and dance ensured a long involvement with Ballyjamesduff Musical Society and the Frolics, a passion for sport meant his energy for Castlerahan and Cavan GAA was unending, and a wide variety of other community interests and involvements certainly made him well known to many. But it is his devoted wife and loving family at home who will miss him most. A dutiful husband and devoted Dad, he was above all else a man of integrity and good example, and he will be mourned and missed.
May Andy’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Andy will repose at his home on the Granard Road, Ballyjamesduff (A82 KP93) on Sunday from 12pm.
