Cavan girl to appear on First Dates

Canningstown girl Chloe Martin (22) hopes to be lucky in love this week when she appears on RTÉ’s First Dates Ireland later tonight.

The episode featuring Chloe airs on Thursday evening at 9:35pm on RTÉ 2.

The hairdresser previously told the Celt that a friend had sent her the application.

“I was like - Let’s just do it, see what happens, just for the fun of it. If anything comes from it, cool; if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. It’ll just be a fun experience to have and to tell people about.”

She is one of two Cavan natives to feature in the current season, after Ooosch presenter James Donohoe (27) went on a double date with his friend Stephen (28) from Athlone, in a combined bid to impress feisty Jade (26) from Newry and self-confessed ‘cheeky monkey’ Siobhan (24) from Mayo.

While the date went well, James has since been lucky in love with another young woman.
