Quality farm land via Fee Auctioneers

A record price was achieved for a Monaghan farm; while a quality Castleblayney farm is available for leasing.

Land and farm sales and leases are to the fore this week as Fee Auctioneers keep pace with record demand.

The company achieved a record price recently for a lease on a 25.4ac farm in Co Monaghan of over €600 per acre pa. Located off the Castleblayney to Keady Road, the holding is a first-time letting and was presented for lease in very good condition. Included in the property was a three-bay slatted unit and a two-bay storage shed, together with handling facilities. The farm has been very well maintained and enhanced by its current owners. Raymond Fee, who handled the deal, reflected on how “strong” interest in the farm was from the outset.

Meanwhile, Fee & Associates Auctioneers have been instructed to lease 19.43 acres of “good quality” farmland at Sheelagh, Hackballscross, Dundalk, Co Louth.

The lands are laid out in eight divisions and are suited for cutting and grazing. It boasts mains water and is being offered on a five-year lease with no entitlements. Price on application.

Fee and Associates has also received instructions to let a quality 48-acre farm at Cornamuckla, Annyalla, Castleblayney in Co Monaghan. It’s land that is very well located off the L3421 Cremartin, Scotch Corner Road.
