Two people have been hospitalised after a two-car road traffic collision on the N3 at Killygarry in Cavan.

Gardaí received a report of the incident this afternoon (Wednesday) at approximately 12:40pm.

"Two people were transferred to Cavan General Hospital as a precaution," a Garda spokesperson stated.

"A stop/go system is currently in operation," they added.
