New solicitor welcomed to Monaghan court

A newly-established solicitor with offices in Monaghan Town was welcomed at a recent sitting of Monaghan District Court.

Elena Gray, who worked for some time with well-known local firm Barry Healy and Company Solicitors, trading as Healy Law, has now established her own offices at 3 North Road, Monaghan.

Having introduced her new practice at a recent sitting of the court, Ms Gray was welcomed in turn by Judge Raymond Finnegan, who wished her the very best of luck.

Ms Gray specialises in civil litigation with particular emphasis on personal injury and medical negligence. Along with her legal qualifications, she is a graduate of Ballyhaise Agricultural College and worked for a period in the banking sector as a fraud agent. She was also a judge at the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition for Central Asia.

Originally from Armenia, Elena speaks three languages and is also a member of the Board of Governors of Monaghan Collegiate School.
