Joan Brady

Meenaghan, Bawnboy, Cavan / Wexford
Joan Brady (nee French), Meenaghan, Bawnboy, Co Cavan. Formerly Davidstown, Co Wexford. Peacefully at home, Tuesday 6th May, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Pre deceased by her husband Terry, parents William & Ellen.
Deeply regretted by her sons Bryan (Joanne), Joe (Elaine) & daughter Martha (Peter), her sisters Chris (Wexford), Helen (Dublin), brothers John & Billy (Wexford). Her adored grandchildren, Finn, Saoirse & Kelly. Elsie, Meabh & Terry. Joey & Muireann. Brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces and all her extended family, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at her home (H14 DX81), Thursday 8th May 5pm to 9pm. Funeral mass in St Mogue's Church, Bawnboy on Friday 9th May at 12pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
House private at all other times please.

Frank Keaney
Pallas, Caltra, Ballinasloe, Galway / Blacklion, Cavan
The death has occurred of Frank Keaney, Pallas, Caltra, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway (formerly of Blacklion, Co. Cavan) peacefully at his home on the 6th May 2025. Beloved husband of the late Bridie. Devoted father of John, Mary and Frances. Fondly missed by his daughter-in-law Zlata, brothers Tommy, Paddy and Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St Patrick's Funeral Home, Fohenagh on the grounds of St Patrick's Church on Thursday 8th May from 5pm to 7pm. (H53 HP26). Requiem Mass on Friday 9th May at 12 noon in St Patrick's Church, Fohenagh with burial afterwards to Caltra Cemetery.
Brian Boyd
Drumakill, Castleblayney, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Brian Boyd, Drumakill, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday May 7th, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.
Brian is pre-deceased by his loving wife Eilish, son-in-law John Gillespie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters Margaret, Charlotte, Linda and Rosina, son Brendan, sister Nuala, brother Vincent, daughter-in-law Áine, sons-in-law Thomas, Ollie and Colm, his 12 cherished grandchildren, great grandchild, god-children, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Brian will repose at Wards Funeral Home Castleblayney (A75 NP30), tomorrow Thursday from 3 pm until 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning from his residence to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by private cremation.
Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland c/o Wards Funeral Home or by donation box.

Eugene Gilbride
Cloncaw, Glaslough, Monaghan, H18 J793
The death has occurred of Eugene Gilbride Snr, Cloncaw, Glaslough, Co.Monaghan, H18 J793. Tuesday 6th May, surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his brother John and sister Mary. Eugene will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family; wife Angela, daughter Debbie (Stephen), sons Eugene (Siobhan) and Sean (Deirdre), grandchildren Shauna, James, Rebecca, Shane, Danny and Jaden, sister Betty McKenna (Seamus), brother Nat, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Eugene’s remains will repose at his home on Wednesday from 3pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am at St.Marys Church, Glennan. Burial afterwards in Drumbanagher Cemetery.
