Ollie (Thunder) Boylan, Crimlin, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan, H12 E1T2, Monday May 26th peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Mairead née (Monahan) and dear father of Carla, Jodie and Ben.

Pre-deceased by his mother Rose, sister Grainne and his nephew Darragh.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son, father Mossie, brothers, sisters, relatives, neighbours and many many friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 2.00pm until 9.00pm and on Wednesday from 2.00pm until 9.00pm. Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 10.30am to St Matthew's Church Drumavaddy H12 NY84 to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Palliative Care Team, care of Declan Finnegan Funeral Directors or any family member.

Elizabeth (Liz) Elvins (née Eakins)

The Cottage, Clooncose, Newtowngore, Co. Leitrim, formally Mullaghdoo, Killeshandra, Co. Cavan.

Saturday May 24th suddenly in the Mather Hospital, Dublin.

Liz will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken husband and best friend Phill, son Michael (Claire), daughter Katie (Hunter), grandchildren Olivia and Jaxon, sister, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, all the family circle and many friends.

Jimmy Mc Bride 9 Drumlin Crest, Cootehill, Co. Cavan and formerly Dooey, Downing, Letterkenny Co. Donegal May 26th 2025 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his caring family in his 92nd year.

Predeceased by his dear wife Eilish (2005).

Jimmy will be dearly missed and forever loved by his family, his daughters Aundrey (Brendan) and Vanessa (Hugh), his sons James (Cora) and Donnacha (Marie), his adored grandchildren Odhrán, Eilisha, Aisling, Aodh J, Cillian, Aoibheann, Shauna and Mollie, his dog Jack, sister-in-law Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Also predeceased by his parents Denis and Bridget McBride, his siblings Eddie and Mary (Downings).

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home (H16 FD25), Cootehill this Wednesday evening from 5 to 8pm. Removal leaving his home on Thursday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 12noon funeral mass, followed by burial in St. Michael’s cemetery, Cootehill.

Dylan McCahey

Tonaneave, Magheracloone, Monaghan, A81 Y225 / Shercock, Cavan

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Dylan McCahey. Tonaneave, Magheracloone Co. Monaghan. 17th May 2025, tragically, whilst on holiday in Portugal.

Predeceased by his infant sister Nicole and his granddads James McCahey and Michael McPhillips.

Dylan, sadly missed and forever remembered with love by his heartbroken family; his parents PJ and Geraldine, his brother Alan and his sister Caitlin (Colin), his grannies Bridget McCahey and Teresa McPhillips, his uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

Dylan will repose at his home, Tonaneave A81 Y225, on Thursday, 29th May, from 3pm until 8pm & on Friday, 30th May, from 3pm until 8pm.

Dylan's funeral cortège will leave his home on Saturday, 31st May, proceeding to St Peter & St Paul's Church, Lower Magheracloone, A81 K720, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Br. Brendan (Anthony) O' Reilly, De La Salle Brothers, St. Helen's and late of Killeshandra, County Cavan, 20th May 2025 peacefully. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Jane, brothers Pat and Hugh Gerard. Deeply regretted by his sister Teresa, sister-in-law Patricia, nieces Grainne and Claire, nephew Derek, relatives, friends, especially Brother Sean Sellors and by his confreres in religion and the staff of St. Johns House.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Tuesday evening from 6.00pm until 9.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St Mary's Church, Bunnoe, Cootehill, to arrive for 12.00 noon Requiem Mass, Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Predeceased by his parents Mary and Pat, brother Benny and his brother in-law Peter Burns.

Patrick deeply regretted and remembered with love by his loving family, his wife Mary, daughter Olive, son Paddy (Collette), his adored grandchildren, Nicola, Niall, Oisín, Caoimhe, Saoirse, Aoibhín and Neasa, sister in-law Therese, nieces, nephew, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
