Late of Irish Permanent, Lombard & Ulster, Irish Permanent Finance, First Citizen Finance and Finance Ireland.

Peacefully in the kind care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown surrounded by her family and friends on 19th June 2025.

Predeceased by her father and mother, Charlie and Kathleen (Daisy).

Sadly missed by her beloved husband Shay, brothers Brian and John, sisters-in law Irene, Catherine, Rita and Fiona, brothers-in-laws Frank, Gerry and Gary, many nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, many friends and neighbours.

Removal from St. Joseph's Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) on Tuesday, 24th of June at 9:30am to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for service at 11am.

Vincent Cooney

Cloverhill, Bailieborough, Cavan

Vincent Cooney, Cloverhill, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died suddenly on the 20th June 2025. Predeceased by his wife Marie and parents Michael and Susan.

Sadly missed and remembered by his beloved family, son Paul (Eithe), Shane, David and Mariesa (Sean), brothers Sean, Oliver and Martin, sisters Mary, Dolores, Patricia, Carol and Joan, grandchildren Gina, Rachel, Grace, Lola, Mia and Sarah, the Dunne family, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral home, Bailieborough on Sunday 22nd June from 3pm - 6pm. Funeral on Monday to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live via St. Anne's Church Webcam.

Oliver (Ollie) FINNEGAN

Coraghy, Shantonagh., Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Cavan

Oliver (Ollie) passed away peacefully in his 88th year, surrounded by the loving care of his family and caring staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his Mother and Father, Teresa and John, his siblings Hugh (In Infancy), Rose, Tom, Patsy, Kathleen, Bridgie, Isa, Eileen, Vincie and his twin brother Des.

Dearly loved and missed by his sister Bernie, his sisters in law Mary and Margaret and his many nieces,nephews and special cousins.

Ollie will repose at Deery’s Funeral Home Carrickmacross on Sunday 22nd from 4pm – 7pm.

Funeral mass will take place on Monday 23rd at St. Micheal’s Church, Corduff at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Phelim Galligan, Denbawn, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan. Friday June 20th Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Lisdarn unit, Cavan. Pre-deceased by his parents Rita and Tommy and his sister Christine Martin. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Mairead Kelly & Damienne, brothers in law Sean Kelly & John Pat Martin, nephews, nieces, Karl and Jason, Tara and Nadine, cousins relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Sunday from 5.00pm until 7.00pm with removal Monday morning at 11.30am to St Matthew's Church, Drumavaddy to arrive for Requiem mass at 12.00 noon. Interment afterwards in the old cemetery.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, on Friday 20th June 2025

Predeceased by his parents Bridget and Bernard, sister Catherine and brother Brian.

Sadly missed by his sister Teresa Doogan, brothers PJ(Pat), Peadar(Ena), Eugene(Theresa) and Noel(Mary)(Portlaois), his cherished nieces and nephews and their families, the sisters, brothers and secular branch members of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Fr John Cooney P.P, his Diocesan colleagues, the wonderful supportive parishioners of Clontibret,Cootehill and Maudabawn, Magheracloone and his many friends and neighbours.

May Fr Michael's faithful and gentle soul, now rest in peace in the arms of His Saviour, who he served so well.

Fr Michael's remains will be reposing at the Damien Chapel, Damien House, Tanagh, (H16 CA22) from 4pm to 7pm this Sunday 22nd June 2025, with removal at 7.30pm to arrive at St Patrick's Church, Maudabawn for 8pm.

Requiem mass at 12 noon on Monday 23rd June 2025 followed by burial in St Patrick's Cemetry Maudabawn.

Edward (Ned), beloved husband of the late Mary, dear father of Pádraig, Maura, Damien and Triana and a devoted grandfather of Óisin, Ciarán, Niall, Sally, Shane, Keelan and Michael. Predecesed by his sister Maisie Martin and his brother Pat. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Karen and Elizabeth, brother-in-law Martin, sisters-in-law Brìd and Annie, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown, D15 XR76 on Monday evening (June 23rd) from 5pm to 7pm.

Removal to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown, D15 YY61 on Tuesday morning (June 24th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Caragh Cemetery, Co. Kildare, W91 DD51.
