Patricia (Pat) Keenan

(née Browne)

Lisdrumskeagh, Shercock, Cavan, A81 YR64 / Latton, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Patricia (Pat) Keenan (née Browne), 33 Lisdrumskeagh, Shercock, Co. Cavan, A81 YR64, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on 25th June 2025.

Predeceased by her son Mark, her parents Minnie and Eddie, and her sister Doreen. Sadly missed by her sons Gary and Donal (and his partner Stephanie), daughters Janette (and her partner Joe), Frances, Patrice, Jemma and Amy, her adored grandchildren Leah, Adam, Jay, Abbie, Saoirse, Jayden, Ruby, Noah, Logan, Ethan and Arabella. Lovingly remembered by her brothers Brendan, Dermot, Eamon and PJ, sisters Marie and Geraldine, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home, 33 Lisdrumskeagh, Shercock, Co. Cavan (Eircode A81 YR64), on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th June from 5.00pm to 9.00pm. House private outside of these times please, and on the morning of the funeral. Funeral Mass on Saturday 28th June at 11.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Bawn, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Shercock / Killann Cancer Support Group.

Irene Rouse

(née McCabe)

Lisanisk, Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Cootehill, Cavan / Ashbourne, Meath

The death has occurred of Irene (Renee) Rouse (née McCabe). Lisanisk, Carrickmacross & formerly Tullyvin, Co. Cavan & Ashbourne, Co. Meath. 25th June 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family, in the wonderful care of the management & staff of Moorehall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee.

Predeceased by her husband Evan, her parents Michael & Katie and her brothers Fr Michael, John, Brendan & Tom and her sisters Maureen, Rosaleen & Kathleen.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; Joan (Lori) & Evie, her much-loved grandchildren; Niall, Deirdre & Katie, her brother Leo and her sister Vera, her extended family, friends & neighbours.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Irene will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 26th June, from 5pm until 7pm.

Irene's funeral cortège will leave the funeral home on Friday, 27th June, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Cootehill.

Chris Whale

Gortnacleigh, Belturbet, Cavan

Chris Whale, Somerset, England and formerly Gortnacleigh, Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Williton Hospital on 19th June 2025.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, sons Mark and David, their mother Marian, his companion Nicola, daughters in law Sara and Philippa, his cherished grandchildren Evelyn and Alex, relatives and many friends.

Elizabeth (Lily) Cullinan

(née McCusker)

Gortmore, Fivemiletown, Tyrone / Tempo, Fermanagh / Monaghan Town, Monaghan

Cullinan, Elizabeth (Lily), nee McCusker, Gortmore, Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone, BT75 0LE, and formerly of Ballyreagh, Tempo, Co. Fermanagh. Died peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on Tuesday 24th June 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Patrick. Treasured mother of Patrick (Janet), Sean, Kevin (Michaela), Donal (Joanne) and Máire (Damien Mulligan). Loving and devoted grandmother to her 13 grandchildren. Cherished sister of the late Joseph, Margaret Green and Bernard.

Lily will be reposing in her late residence from 8pm on Wednesday 25th June. There will be a shuttle bus service from the Kiltermon Church Car Park to the house from 8pm until 10pm on Wednesday and from 6pm until 9pm on Thursday.

Lily will leave her late residence at 10.20am on Friday 27th June for 11am requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Fivemiletown, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Lily will travel from her home on the Ballagh Road and will arrive at St Mary’s Church at 10.50am.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sisters in law and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady Pray for her.

Ellie Toal

(née Quigley)

Conaghy, Newbliss, Monaghan / Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Ellie Toal, (nee Quigley), Conaghy, Newbliss, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 25th June 2025, at the wonderful age of 103years. Peacefully in the loving care of her family at her daughter Eileen and son-in-law Gerard Kelly's residence, Altartate Glebe, Clones, Co Monaghan.

Predeceased by her husband James, her son Bernard and her son-in-law Charlie.

Cherished and much loved Mother of Carmel (Toye, Mullycavan, Roslea), Eileen (Gerard Kelly, Clones) and Gerard (Frances, Conaghy, Newbliss). Ellie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, Son, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren, Martin, Barry, Anne Marie, Ciaran, Genevieve, Orlaith, Stephen, Dermot, Gary, Darren, Gavan and Paul, great-grandchildren, great-great- granddaughter, sister-in-law, Dympna (Quigley, Monaghan), nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Ellie.

Ellie will be resting at the residence of her daughter Eileen and son-in-law Gerard Kelly, Altartate Glebe, Clones, Co Monaghan, (H23 RD35) on Thursday 26th from 3pm to 9pm,(family time at all other times please, including Friday morning) with removal on Friday morning 27th, at approx 10.30am to St. Laobhin's Chapel, Killeevan for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
