Showers and bright spells forecast
Weather according to Met Éireann.
There will be some bright intervals this morning, mainly in the east of the province but overall mostly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle extending eastwards, heavy and persistent at times.
It will become drier and brighter in the west of the province later.
Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees, coolest in the west, with light to moderate southerly winds, veering northwesterly later.
It will become largely dry tonight with clear spells, isolated showers and with some fog patches developing as the last of the rain clears the east of the province early tonight.
Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with light, occasionally moderate northerly breezes.
A mix of cloud and sunny spells are expected tomorrow morning as well scattered showers develop by the afternoon, some of which may turn heavy.
Better sunny spells will develop in the evening.
Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in light, occasionally moderate, north or northwest breezes.
