Bawn, Killeshandra, Cavan / Drinagh, Wexford

Padraig O'Reilly (Paudie), Bawn, Killeshandra, Co Cavan. Sunday August 24th, tragically following an accident. Beloved husband of Schira and devoted father of Grace and Finn. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, father Meehaul, mother Patricia, sisters and brother, Mairéad, Fearghal, Aishling, Sinead and Aoishe, parents in law Alan and Phil Lynch, brothers in law, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow Tuesday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm with a break from 5.40pm until 6.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 11.30am to St Brigid's Church, Killeshandra to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Ellen (Nellie) Daly

(née McArdle)

Drumavaddy, Broomfield, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Ellen (Nellie) Daly née McArdle, Drumavaddy, Broomfield, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Monday 25th August 2025, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, Gerry (Geraldine), Ann (Donal), Pauric (Caroline), Dessie (Martina), Pauline(Charles) and Brendan, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Nellie will repose privately among her family, neighbours and friends at her home until removal on Tuesday evening arriving to St Patrick’s Church for 7 pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday morning, at 11 am, with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery where Nellie will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband John.
