Man charged over B'boro pub break in
Two men have been arrested and one charged in connection with a buglary at a local public house in Bailieborough at the weekend.
Giles' Bar on Barrack Street was broken into on Sunday morning last, August 24, with sum of cash taken.
Gardaí are understood to have been following a definite line of enquiry into the matter and on Tuesday raided a house in the town on foot of a warrant, arresting two people inside.
Both were taken in for questioning and one man was subsequently charged in connection with the burglary.
The second man meanwhile was released without charge, though gardaí have sent a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions for direction.
