McCann set to headline new Electric Keys stage at EP
Belturbet native Cormac McCann is getting ready to give his first solo performance at the Electric Picnic Festival this Saturday, August 30. Cormac will be performing on the new piano stage called 'Electric Keys', a brand new stage exclusive to EP 2025.
Cormac has been named the headline act for the piano stage covering the last performance at 3.20pm on Saturday in the area of the EP known as Croí.
Cormac will be singing and playing his usual flavour of many styles from classical to pop, jazz to rock - be prepared for his parodies and a special "cameo from the Casio". The Casio 3 octave keyboard is Cormac's new mascot which he plays like a "keytar" and has been gaining special interest on social media channels going by the name of "keyboardcormac".
Cormac is chuffed to have been chosen to headline the Electric Keys stage on Saturday.
"This is probably my biggest moment - I feel like Freddie Mercury going on stage at Live Aid. I have only got 20 minutes to impress the world," Cormac reflects.
So if you're lucky enough to have a ticket for the Electric Picnic festival, pop along and see Cormac McCann on the Electric Keys stage in the Croí area this Saturday at 3.20pm.
