It is with regret that we note the following deaths from Counties Cavan and Monaghan as reported on RIP.ie in the last few days.

George Crowe Jnr

George Crowe Jnr, Tullyvin House, Tullyvin, Cootehill, Co. Cavan September 5th 2025 suddenly but peacefully at his home.

Predeceased recently by his brother-in-law Keith Flynn.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his parents George Snr and Susanna, his siblings Elaine (Andy), Orla, Conor (Ausra), Niamh, Siobhan and Suzanne (Conor), nephews and nieces Darren (Ciara), Paul (Stephanie), Orla (Ian), Brian (Caoimhe), Eabha, Rían, Susanna, Emeline, Lilian, grandnieces and grandnephews Brooke, Abigail, Cara and Charlie, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence Tullyvin House (H16 PX85) this Wednesday from 12 to 9pm. Removal leaving his residence on Thursday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 11 o’clock funeral Mass, followed by burial in St Patrick’s cemetery Corick, Cootehill, Co, Cavan.

There will be a one way system in place to Tullyvin House, enter via Tullyvin Village (Univet) and exit through the main entrance of Tullyvin House. A shuttle bus will be in operation from Univet.

(née Sheridan)

Ballyhaise, Cavan, H12 EH33

Nuala Morrow née Sheridan, Cavan Road, Ballyhaise, Cavan, Sunday 7th September 2025, in her 92nd year. Peacefully, at the home of her daughter Sinéad and son in law Bernard, surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael. Sadly, missed by her loving children Geraldine, Jimmy, Sinéad, Michael and Mary, her sons in law, John, Bernard and Myles, daughters in law Mairéad and Catherine, her adored grandchildren Mark, Brian, Orla, Siún, Conal, Cillian, Katie, Niamh, Robert and Anna, brothers Joe and Pat, all her relatives and many friends.

Reposing at her home, Cavan Road, Ballyhaise H12 EH33, in the care of her loving family on Tuesday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12.00 noon, in St Mary's Church, Ballyhaise, with interment afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Castletara. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on the following link.

Sister Carmel Ring

Dublin / Monaghan

RING, Sister Carmel (Sisters of Marie Auxiliatrice, Muswell Hill, London; formerly of Dublin and Monaghan) died in London on 12th August 2025 in the loving care of the staff at St. Anne’s Nursing Home, The Little Sisters of the Poor.Greatly loved and sadly missed by her religious community, her niece and extended familyand her many friends.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s on 10th September at 10am, followed by burial in St. Pancras Cemetery.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hAnam dilis.
