Cavan club rewarded for successful youth Cricket Camp

County Cavan Cricket Club’s First 'Smash It' campaign made some serious noise in Ireland’s cricket circles! Over the summer, the Cavan club hosted a sport camp for kids at the local rugby grounds. With 58 taking part, the club topped the charts nationally.

As a reward for all that energy and success, Cricket Ireland gave the club’s young players a fantastic opportunity to keep chasing their cricketing dreams: During the first T20 International between Ireland and England, the young cricketers had the honour of escorting the players to the ground in Malahide.

“It was a proud day for our club," said coach Pranoob Sasidharan. "The children not only enjoyed an unforgettable international experience, but also created memories that will inspire them for years to come. We are deeply thankful to Cricket Ireland for giving our kids this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
