Campaign seeks to help Cavan businesses save time, money and energy

A new campaign has been launched by Local Enterprise Office Cavan to help businesses to “save time, money and energy” and show them how to make their businesses more productive and improve competitiveness.

The ‘All In a Day’s Work’ campaign highlights the significant impacts that Local Enterprise Office supports can have on a business. This includes helping business to reduce waste, improve inefficiencies and cut costs.

The campaign promotes some of the Local Enterprise Office key supports including the Lean for Business Programme, Green for Business Programme and Digital for Business Programme. Each of the programmes are free and experts conduct an assessment of the business and then produce a plan of how to implement changes that will have a positive impact on how the company runs.

Conor Craven, Head of Enterprise in Cavan Local Enterprise Office, explained how the initiative is about showing businesses the simple changes they can make to become more efficient and ultimately save them time, money and energy.

“We have made it as simple as possible for businesses to access these supports. No matter what sector your business is in, we can help you. You simply spend two minutes filling out the form on the All In a Day’s Work site and we take it from there. We will then work around your schedule and find the best support that fits your business and the stage it’s at,” encouraged Mr Craven.

“We’ve helped thousands of businesses to date and the best thing about these supports is that they will make your business better, they will make it more competitive and improve productivity. After all, this is all in a day’s work for us!” The Green for Business programme and the Digital for Business programme can also lead businesses on the Energy Efficiency Grant and the Grow Digital Voucher, which provide financial support for companies that want to implement the findings of the programme within their business. These supports have been expanded by Minister Peter Burke and the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to cover all business sectors and are open to any business with up to 50 employees. Businesses are being encouraged to reach out to their Local Enterprise Office to start the process or take two minutes on www.AllInADaysWork.ie to fill out the form and their Local Enterprise Office will take it from there.
