Annie Brady
(née Hill)
Drumauna, Drung, Cavan
The death has occured of Annie Brady (nee Hill) Drumauna, Drung, Co. Cavan peacefully at home in her 99th year in the loving arms of her children. Predeceased by her husband Paxie, her son Anthony James, parents Thomas and Annie Hill, brothers Hugh, Mickey, Dan and Paddy and sisters Nora O'Hare and Teresa Brady.
Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sons Ben, Patsy, Sean, Dan and Noel and her daughters AnnMarie, Teresa, Noreen, Rose, Kathleen and Caroline, sons in law, daughters in law, her 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May she Rest in Eternal Peace.
Reposing at Lakeland’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, H12 RF78 this Saturday 4th October from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem funeral mass on Sunday 5th October at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drung, Co Cavan, H12 Y409, and can be viewed live here with burial immediately afterwards in Drung cemetery.
House strictly private to family only.

The death has occurred of Cecilia Garvey, née Burns, Drumpeak, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, in her 99th year, peacefully and surrounded by her family in the loving care of Castleross Nursing Home, 3rd October 2025.
Predeceased by her husband Francis, her sisters May, Kathleen, Gerty, Rose and Julia, her brothers Jim, Eugene, Matt and Ned, and her daughter-in-law Phyllis. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters Colette (Brian Carolan), Rose (Robbie Malone), Regina (John Smyth), and Paula (Harry Malone), her sons Paddy, Ben and Emmett (Bernie), her 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home on Sunday, 5th October, from 1pm to 4pm. Removal on Sunday evening to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, arriving for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Anne O'Rourke (nee Gibney), 12 Fairhill, Cavan Town and formerly Leeds (U.K), Thursday October 2nd 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at College View Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter (Dominic) O'Rourke. Anne will be very sadly missed by her 2 sisters Pat and Rita (London), all her extended family and friends.

Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Yvonne and Jennifer and grandchildren Laura, Becky, Ollie and Ruby, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Bree.

The death has occurred of Brendan Hughes, Kinnegan, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan peacefully in the care of the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, Friday 3rd October 2025.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Roseanna, daughter Aideen, parents, Patrick and Bridie, sisters Kathleen, Geraldine, Anna and Marcella.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, sons Paul and Conor (Orla), daughters, Angela (Paddy), and Hilary (Michael), 14 cherished grandchildren Nicole, Imogen, Aoibheann, Ciara, Jamie, Melissa, Maebh, Ashleigh, Matthew, Liam, Vivienne, Noah, Christopher and Joey, brothers Frank and Pat, sisters Noreen and Martina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
