Margaret Coyne Couture at Paris Fashion Week
MEET THE FINALISTS: BEST IN FASHION & LIFESTYLE
Margaret Coyne Couture debuted her ‘Loinnir Collection’ for Paris Fashion Week 2025 and flew the flag for Ireland on Thursday, October 2.
Originally from Kildare, Margaret established ‘Margaret Coyne Couture’ in 2021 with her studio nestled in West Cavan’s Dowra Courthouse.
The rising star’s journey to the prestigious stage of Paris Fashion Week 2025 is as captivating as the gowns she creates.
Her design studio offers a comforting environment where creativity, ideas and personal tastes come to life, initially on a page and finally in the form of a bespoke, breathtaking bridal gown.
Meanwhile, Margaret also specialises in mother of the bride gown design experiences. Each garment is custom made with the client’s wish list in mind, while she also designs headpieces and veils to suits any gown. The entire experience is designed to last a lifetime as a cherished memory for mothers and brides.
“Only one piece at a time comes through the studio, to allow each client our undivided care and attention,” she assured.
Speaking of lifetime memories, Margaret said showing at Paris Fashion Week is “every designer’s dream”.
“It’s the pinnacle of the international fashion calendar,” she adding, speaking to the Celt from Paris. “I am thrilled to represent Ireland on this stage with my Loinnir Collection, sharing a vision of Irish craftsmanship, storytelling, and contemporary couture with the world.”
Margaret’s work is a study in contrasts, where architectural precision flows seamlessly into fluidity, and strength is perfectly balanced with grace.
Rooted in heritage yet fearless in reinvention, she channels the spirit of the Irish landscape; timeless, poetic, and profoundly expressive, while her vision remains boldly contemporary, redefining the role of an independent Irish designer on the global stage.
Her debut at Paris Fashion Week 2025 marks a landmark moment, celebrating both craftsmanship and creative ambition.
