All about safety at Cald Engineering Ltd

Established in 2018, Cald Engineering Ltd design is an engineering company which builds and installs industrial equipment and machinery.

The CE certified workshop employs 10 members of staff and supplies products to customers in Cavan, Meath, Drogheda, Louth and Dublin. Clients include Tara Mines, Dublin Docklands and closer to home companies like Crosserlough Construction and the McCabe Group.

Cald works with clients to firstly design and build equipment such as access platforms, stairs, handrails, and renovate structural steel. The company will also take your design for a new addition you wish to include at your company.

Meanwhile Cald Engineering is also a wholesaler for meal silos, which they import, manufacture and sell.

"We do a lot of safety equipment, a big part of what we do is about safety," Managing Director Ciaran McEnerney told the Celt.

Cald also provides loading bays and access platforms, which they design "with safety in mind" for the company.

"That's where a lot of upgrading is needed, old equipment needs to be updated for better access and safety."

The equipment is customised to fit your site, manufactured in their Crosserlough workshop and installed onsite.

Meanwhile Cald is currently in the process of upgrading their own workshop. Cald Engineering Ltd availed of grants from the Local Enterprise Office recently to build new machinery and a new workshop, which is now in the final completion phase. The company also took a decision to upgrade to new and modern laser machinery to enhance the offering to their customers.
