€12K for playground in Castlerahan

There was great celebrations recently when the Castlerahan Vintage Club presented a cheque for €12,000 to Castlerahan Community Development GLC for their newly opened children’s playground.

The chairman of Castlerahan Community Development, Larry McGinn, congratulated the members of the Vintage club on their recent formation. “The club is a wonderful addition to the community and it has ensured that a lot of people have become involved in new activities – helping the building of community. This playground is a wonderful facility for the younger children in the community.

“Thanks to you all in the Vintage Club for your wonderful donation of €12,000 to the new Playground. It is really appreciated by Community Development and will be loved by the children of Castlerahan for many years to come. You all should be very proud of what you have done.”
