KORE first to achieve EcoVerify accreditation

KORE’s science-aligned Net Zero pathway has also been independently validated

Kilnaleck-headquartered Kore Insulation has set a new benchmark for climate accountability in Ireland’s Construction Sector by becoming the first to achieve accredited Greenhouse Gas (GHG) verification from EcoVerify.

The verification was presented by Peter Burke, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, who commended the achievement as a model for Irish industry.

KORE's positive verification is earned for its 2023 and 2024 GHG inventories under EcoVerify’s accreditation, confirming that the Cavan business' climate reporting meets internationally recognised standards for accuracy, transparency and accountability.

KORE’s science-aligned Net Zero pathway has also been independently validated by EcoVerify, marking one of the strongest demonstrations to date of genuine commitment to Ireland’s climate goals and the transition to Net Zero.

Caroline Ashe Brady, Commercial Director, KORE Insulation, says that “sustainability” is at the heart of the local firm's business strategy.

“Achieving Ireland’s first greenhouse gas verification under EcoVerify’s accreditation, this provides strong reassurance to our clients, partners, and regulators that we operate to very high standards of sustainability and are serious about measurable climate action and long-term accountability,” she said.

Laura Mora, Managing Director of EcoVerif noted that the achievement highlights KORE’s “leadership in climate accountability” within the construction sector and reflects the “growing demand” for credible, independent assurance of greenhouse gas reporting and Net Zero commitments.”

Minister Burke meanwhile added that many Irish businesses are now demonstrating that “sustainability is good for business”.

“It’s great to see KORE Insulation achieve this level of climate action reporting, to have it verified by another Irish business, EcoVerify, and accredited to a world-leading standard. Government, businesses, and society are all working towards a shared target of net zero emissions, and I’m delighted to see Irish companies like these leading the way.”
