Scattered showers and sunny spells expected today

Weather update according to Met Éireann.

Today will be mostly cloudy with showery outbreaks of rain and drizzle this morning.

Scattered showers and sunny spells will develop through the day.

Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate to fresh west to northwest winds.

It will be clear and dry for most of the night but cloudier conditions will develop along coastal fringes along with isolated showers.

Lowest overnight temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds. Patchy mist and fog also possible.

Scattered showers and sunny spells are expected tomorrow.

Rain from the southeast will move northeastwards on Wednesday night effecting the far eastern region of the province.

Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
