Breda Lynch

(née Martin)

Barley Hill, Kingscourt, Meath / Kingscourt, Cavan

The death has occurred of Breda Lynch (née Martin), Barley Hill, Kingscourt, Co. Meath, suddenly at her home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday morning, 19th October, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Tommy and Mary Martin and her brother Gerry. Sadly missed and remembered by her cherished family, her husband Tom, daughters Olivia Callaghan (Joseph), Christina Gilsenan (Gavin), Kathryn Farrelly (John) and her son Barry, her adored grandchildren Darragh, Shannon, Cormac, Liam and Cillian, her sisters Frances, Ann and Peggy, brother Tommy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan (A82R2W3), on Wednesday, 22nd October, from 4pm to 8pm. Breda’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, 23rd October, at 11am, in St. Patrick and St. Brigid’s Church, Meath Hill, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kingscourt.

Sandra McCabe

Cloughvalley Upper, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Sandra McCabe. Cloughvalley Upper, Carrickmacross. 20th October 2025. Unexpectedly, at her home.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family; her parents Eamonn & Briege, her sister Sarah-Jane and her brother Alan (Paula), her much-loved cousin Eva, her cherished niece & nephews; Chantelle, Dylan, Darragh & Rhys, her extended family, friends and work colleagues in Anord Mardix.

(née Holland)

Galmoylestown, Mullingar, Westmeath / Castleshane, Monaghan

Ann McCarthy, Galmoylestown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Cornahoe, Castleshane, Co. Monaghan, 20th October 2025, surrounded by her devoted and caring family. Adored mother of Margueritta, Regina, Oliver and Noeleen. Loving sister of Madge (Coyle), Gene (Holland) and Patricia (Conway).

Predeceased by her husband Dan and sons Donal and Laurence. Ann will be sadly missed by her extended family, Samantha Gill, sons in law, daughters in law, partners, her adored grandchildren Ciara, Daniel, Jamie, Darren, Megan, Jade, Dylan, Aine, Oisin and Eoghan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

MAY ANN REST IN PEACE

Reposing at her home (N91 DY86) on Wednesday (October 22nd) from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Taughmon, for Funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Annie McGee

(née McKenna (Paddy Peter))

The death has occurred of Annie McGee née McKenna (Paddy Peter), Davagh, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, H18 TW50. Monday 20th October peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family in her 100th year.

Pre-deceased by her husband Peter, infant son Peader and brothers Pat & Mickey. Annie is deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughters, Margaret, Ann, Brigid & Mary, sons in law Brian & Ted, her precious grandchildren Leonie (Jim), Dara (Joe) & Liam, her adored great grandchildren Croíadh & Seán, sister in law and good friend Mary, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

May Annie’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Annie’s remains will repose at her home on Tuesday (21st) and Wednesday (22nd) from 2pm - 9pm. House private at all other times please. Annie’s remains will leave her home on Thursday morning to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Carrickroe, H18 XW26 for Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
