Mary Margaret McGovern of Westwood, Newton, Boston and formerly of Dunmakeever, Glangevlin. Co. Cavan, on the 27th of October 2025 after a long illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by her parents, Francis & Nora, brother Charlie, and brother-in-law, Tim. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving brothers, Jim, Phil and Francie and sisters, Anne and Josie, as well as her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Reposing in her brother's house at Dunmakeever, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan (N41 VW93) from 6-8pm on Saturday 1st of November 2025. House private please at all other times. Funeral mass will take place at 12 noon on Sunday 2nd of November 2025 in St. Patrick's Church, Glangevlin, Co.Cavan (N41 Y409), with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Frank (Francis) Burton
Tullycorbet, Ballybay, Monaghan / Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Killiney, Dublin
The death has occurred of Frank (Francis) Burton. Tullycorbet, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan & formerly Killiney & Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin. Late of An Post. 28th October 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at Blackrock Clinic, Dublin.
Predeceased by his parents Tommy & May and his brothers Denis, Coach, Donal, Martin, Tom, Davy & Bisto.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his wife Mairín, his son Frank and his daughter Mary-Paula, his daughter-in-law Ann and his son-in-law Stuart, his much-loved grandchildren Áine, Aoibhinn, Cara & Fergus, his brother Dick and his sister Anne, his extended family, neighbours & friends.

Frank will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Thursday, 30th October, from 4pm until 7pm.
Frank's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Friday, 31st October, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, via donation box c/o Lonergan Funeral Directors or directly to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland here.

The death has occurred of Eamon Deery, 4 Main Street, Scotstown, Co Monaghan H18YD21 and formerly Killycarnan, Scotstown, Co Monaghan unexpectedly at home.
Predeceased by his wife Bridget, parents Alice and Eddie and infant brother Stephen.
Eamon will be sadly missed by his daughter Brenda (Marius), son Darren (Leah) and his much loved grandchildren Oliver, Kate, Daniel, Alice, Callum, Isla, Darragh and Liam. A dear brother of Thomas, Margaret, Bernadette, Paul and Daniel.

Patrick William (Billy) McAreavey, Tullyard, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Tuesday 28th October peacefully at The Mater Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by parents Elizabeth and Patrick, sisters Mary, Sheila and brother Vincent.
Billy will be sadly missed by his brother Jimmy, sisters in law Margaret & Maura, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
