Road reopened after collision near Virginia

"The driver of the vehicle received medical attention at the scene for injuries not believed to be life-threatening," a garda spokesperson stated.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic collision, which occurred at Enagh East, Virginia.

The incident occurred at around 4:10pm this evening. The road closed for some time however a spokesperson stated it has "since reopened."

"The driver of the vehicle received medical attention at the scene for injuries not believed to be life-threatening," a garda spokesperson stated.

"No other injuries reported," they added.
