Looking forward to the Christmas Fair

Bailieborough Courthouse will play host to a Christmas fair on December 7 and 8 from 1 to 4pm with all local based groups, arts and crafts on display.

It will present a great opportunity to source hampers or other Christmas trinkets as gifts while supporting local producers.

The local rehab care group will showcase their handmade frames, 'Created in Cavan' food and beverages will be available, and Dream Centre therapists Dr Alina Otgon-Gonta and Andželika Štramaitytė are currently working with children to finish off pottery works.

Courthouse administrator Petra Grabaczova is just delighted to show all the variety the town has to offer – contributing her own unique take on Christmas with ‘Linzer Torte’ - an almond shortcake pastry with redcurrant jam. Hailing from Slovakia, she is looking forward to sharing traditional baked goods with the community. She might even share her recipe with you.
