Unsettled weather ahead

Scattered showers early this morning, becoming mainly confined to the western half of the province as sunny spells develop.

Cloud will build from the southwest during the afternoon with outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing for the west of the province in the evening.

Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Cloudy and wet for a time tonight.

Rain will gradually become confined to the east or the province by morning as clear spells and showers follow, some heavy with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms.

Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees in mostly light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Lingering rain in the east of the province will gradually clear tomorrow morning, otherwise there will be sunny spells with scattered showers, mainly in the west, some heavy with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms.

More widespread showers or longer spells of rain will spread from the west through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.
