Michael Smith, the bungalow, Creighan, Cavan Town, Cavan. Friday November 5th peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital.
Beloved husband of Cissy and dear father of Patricia (Barry Fitzpatrick) and the late Kevin (Olivia)
Pre-deceased by his son Kevin, brothers John- Pat and Jimmy, sisters Rose O'Shea and Nan Mulligan, nephews Michael and Johnny Smith.
Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, son in law, daughter in law, his adored grandchildren Áine, Gerard, Niamh, Ciara and Michael, sister-in-law Breda (Jersey), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan on Sunday from 4.00pm until 6.30pm.
Removal from his home on Monday morning at 11.30am to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon, interment afterwards in St Joseph's Cemetery, Drumkilly.

James (Seamus) Keane, 18 John Paul Ave, Cavan and formerly Watergate, Co.Limerick, Thursday 4th December 2025, peacefully in the loving care of his partner Martina, his loving family and the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, following a tragic accident. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary Keane, his brother Anthony, sisters Frances & Teresa and his beloved son John.
James (Seamus) will be very sadly missed by his partner Martina , his children, James, Noel, Geraldine, Teresa, Lorraine, Deirdre, Jason , Sean and Ciara and their partners. Martina’s children Thomas , Sabrina, Hughie and their partners, his adored grandchildren, brother Noel, his sisters Margaret and Pauline, his uncle Clement and aunt Josephine, nephews , nieces, all his extended family and his many friends. Margaret passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital Drogheda, under the exceptional care of the staff in Newgrange 2,
surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Annie and John Blaney, her beloved husband Patsy, five sisters and three brothers.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Patricia, Regina, Dolores and Orla, sons George and Desmond,daughter and sons-in-law, her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing Sunday 7th of December at her daughter Dolores residence, Willistown House, Drumcar (A92 DT21) 3pm – 7pm.
Monday to arrive at St.Finian’s Church, Dillonstown for funeral mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in Drumcar Cemetery.

Peacefully on Friday, 5th December 2025, at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Teenie will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Mervyn, sons Alan, Gregory and David, daughter Doreen (Moorehead), daughters-in-law Helena and Jacinta, son-in-law Gordon. Also her treasured grandchildren Mark, Lisa, Michelle, Aaron, Ciara, Laura and James, great-grandchildren Lucy, Lily, Ella and Theo and the family circle.

Funeral service in Legnacrieve Presbyterian Church, Clontibret, eircode H18 VW72, on Tuesday, 9th December at 12 noon.
Followed by a private cremation.

The death has occurred of Anna McGardle (née McGeeney). Lisgall, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and formerly Clonalig, Culloville, Co. Armagh. 4th December 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents John & Eileen, her sisters Jennifer Rooney & Kathleen MacMillan and her brothers James (in infancy), Leo & Brendan.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her husband Owen, her sons Patrick (Edel) & Eugene (Lisa) and her daughters Eileen (James) & Mary (David), her much-loved grandchildren; Anna-Mae, Finn, Oisín, Isabelle, Fia & Eoghan, her brother Paddy and her sisters Bridie O'Rourke, Rose Grant, Eileen Rodgers & Bernadette Ward, her extended family, neighbours & friends.

Anna's funeral cortège will leave her home on Sunday, 7th December, driving to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving at 11:50am for Funeral Mass at 12noon followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
