Brighter with Showers in the North

Daytime highs of 5 to 8 or 9 degrees are expected. Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly, becoming fresher near northern and northwestern coasts.

Cloud will increase over Ulster overnight, bringing more frequent showers there.

It will continue to remain cold into Friday with wintry showers expected in the north and northwest and temperatures struggling to rise, reaching just 2 to 6 degrees.
