Cavan player scoops €1M on millionaire lotto raffle
Six players from Monaghan, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, and Tipperary each win €100,000
It was a New Year’s Eve to remember for a National Lottery player in Cavan who has officially taken the title of Ireland’s newest millionaire after winning the top prize of €1 million in last night’s Millionaire Raffle draw.
While another player in Monaghan is also celebrating a €100,000 win having purchased their ticket at the Londis on New Terrace in Monaghan Town.
The Cavan player scooped their €1 million prize with the ticket number 322259.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location will be revealed tomorrow (Friday), January 2.
The win marks the third National Lottery millionaire for Cavan in recent weeks following the €17 million EuroMillions jackpot win on December 12, and the top prize Daily Million win on November 30.
As well as the top prize of €1 million, there were six prizes of €100,000 up for grabs in last night’s draw which were won by players in Monaghan, Cork, Donegal, Dublin, and Tipperary with the ticket numbers 252397, 235896, 384684, 157647, 010254 and 368386. The selling locations of the six €100,000 prizes were:

The New Year’s Eve draw, which marked the final National Lottery draw of 2025, had an incredible 8,500 prizes on offer. As well as the top prize of €1 million and six prizes of €100,000, there were 15 prizes of €10,000, 45 prizes of €5,000, 302 prizes of €1,000 and 8,131 prizes of €500.
The National Lottery are urging all Millionaire Raffle players to check their tickets very carefully today to see if they have started 2026 with a win. Players are advised to check their tickets at www.lottery.ie or on the National Lottery App.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr had the following advice for players: “What a way to ring in the New Year for a Millionaire Raffle player in Cavan who kicked 2026 off as an overnight millionaire. With 8,500 prizes on offer, we are urging all of our players who had tickets for the New Year’s Eve draw to carefully check their Raffle numbers today at www.lottery.ie where the full list of winning Raffle numbers is available.”
“The biggest winners of the night, including the €1 million top prize winner and the six winners of €100,000, are advised to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe. They should contact our Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lottery Headquarters to collect their prizes.”
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
