John Carroll Glassdrummon, Canningstown, Cootehill, Co. Cavan Thursday January 1st 2026 peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Rossmore Unit, Monaghan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Annie and Matt, brothers Matt and Jimmy, sister-in-law Annamai Carroll, brothers-in-law Pat McGee and Felix McCabe.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, sisters Nan McGee, Maura (Peter Smyth), Sue (Patsy Clarke), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Mullen’s Funeral Home Cootehill (H16 FD25) this Friday January 2nd from 4pm to 7pm. Removal leaving Mullen’s Funeral Home this Saturday morning at 11.15 to arrive at St Brigid’s Church East Knockbride A82 H982 (via Dernakesh NS, Wilson's Cross) to arrive for 12noon funeral mass, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Bunnoe, Cavan / Achonry, Sligo
Lily Fay (née Wynne), The Rock, Lisboduff, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Achonry, Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo, died 31st December 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the Nurses and Doctors at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Agnes, brothers Ollie and Seamus and sister May.
Will forever be missed by her husband Paddy and her children Theresa (John), Hubert (Sharon), Angela, PJ (Dor), Olivia (Brian) and Gerard, her adored grandchildren Thomas, Adam, Daniel, Katie, Aoife, Ryan, Caolán, Colin, Tara Lily and Oscar and great-granddaughter Ella Rose, her brothers Roger and Stephen, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home this Friday 2nd January from 2pm to 8pm, (with a break from 4.30 to 5). For those wishing to pay their respects in person, parking at Bunnoe Community Centre (H16 P031) with a shuttle bus in operation to and from the family home.
Funeral cortège to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Bunnoe for Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, and can be viewed here followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to the Patient Comfort Fund at Castlemanor and Cavan Parkinson's Association, c/o funeral director or any family member.

The death has occurred of Ellen McGovern (nee Murray) Tullinamoyle, Dowra, Co. Cavan formerly Legeelan, Blacklion, Co. Cavan peacefully at her residence following a short illness.
Forever loved and sadly missed by her loving husband Henry, daughter Caroline and her husband Andrew Feeney, son Raymond and his partner Brenda Doherty, grandchildren Andrea, Dylan, Claire, Patrick, Kieran, Joseph, Charlie and Sean, great-grandchildren Cayden and Mark.
Remains reposing in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra N41 KR74 from 5-7pm this Friday evening. Funeral mass at 1pm on Saturday with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

The death has occurred of Eileen Flanagan (nee McDermott), formerly of O'Neill Park, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Thursday 1st January 2026, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband John
Cherished and adored mother of Jim, Ronnie (Marie), Leo (Geraldine), Keiran (Sue), Margaret (Freddie), Helen (Thomas), Paul, Allan (Mairead). Eileen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Eileen

Eileen will repose at Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 on Friday evening (2nd) from 4pm to 6pm with removal at 6.30pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Clones arriving for 7pm.
Eileen’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (3rd) at 11am, followed by Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
Eileen's funeral cortège to the chapel on Friday evening will travel via The Diamond (approx 6.50pm) and Fermanagh St, (Driving)

We are saddened to announce the death of Peggy Hayden née Magee, Cappog, Ballinode, Co.Monaghan and formerly Irvinestown, Co Fermanagh. Thursday 1st January peacefully in her 96th year surrounded by her loving family in the gentle care of the staff at Drumbear Lodge.
Predeceased by husband Bill, son Roy, and brothers Jim, Charlie and Paddy.
Peggy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Siobhán, Tony, Amy, Fiona, Clarice and Clarrie, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, her sister Mary (Thompson), neighbours and close friends Martin and Eileen, the wider circle of family and friends and the community of Cappog, Ballinode.

Peggy's remains will repose at her home in Ballinode from 3pm - 9pm on Friday. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am at St.Mary's Church, Urbleshanny. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery alongside her husband Bill.

The death has occurred of Anna Tracey (nee Graham), 14 O'Neill Park, Clones, Co. Monaghan, and formerly of Legnakelly, Clones, Co. Monaghan, who passed away peacefully in Mullinahinch house nursing home, surrounded by her loving family, 1st January 2026
Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her sisters Rose, Alice and Sadie (who died in infancy) and her brothers Eddie and Seamus.
Anna will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her brother Austin and sister-in-law Annie (Clones) and her sister Geraldine and brother-in-law Tommy Fitzpatrick (New York), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Anna
