The death has occurred of Philomena Cosgrove (née Myles), Innishbeg, Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan, Wednesday January 21st, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her husband Vincent, sister Sadie, brothers Thomas and Brian.
Sadly missed by her loving daughters Ann, Agnes and Geraldine, sons in law Padraig Mundy and Derek Smith, her sister Una Doyle, her adored grandchildren, Aisling, Ronan, Eoin, Sarah, Laura, Cormac and Luke, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow, Thursday, from 5.00pm until 8.00pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11.00am in St Aidan’s Church, Butlersbridge. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Michael McGovern
Collooney, Sligo / Swanlinbar, Cavan
Michael McGovern, The Corner House, Collooney, Co. Sligo, originally (Gregory's), Borim, Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan. Michael passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. John's Community Hospital, Sligo. Beloved husband of Mary Agnes, Michael is pre-deceased by their infant son Martin. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary Agnes, his sons and his daughters-in-law Paul & Mary, James & Stephanie, Peter, Micheál, Keenan & Siobhán and Seán & Carmel. Michael will be fondly remembered by his brother Philip (Meath), his sisters-in-law Margaret, Catherine and Evelyn, his adored grandchildren Mary-Kate, Eimear, John, Mark, Cathal, Aisling, Orla, Ruby, Faye, Catherine and Sarah and his great-grandchild Holly- Maeve, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Church of the Assumption, Collooney (F91 CK24) on Friday (23rd Jan) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday (24th Jan) in The Church of The Assumption at 2pm with burial afterwards in St. Nathy's Cemetery, Collooney. The death has occurred of Bernie McNally (née Cahill) on Wednesday 21st January peacefully at home in Kildorough, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Mick, parents and her siblings.
Bernie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Alan, his wife Siobhán and son Cian, daughter Janet, brother Bartle, sister-in-law and carer Anne, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Bernie will repose at Ward’s Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75NP30) on Thursday, 22nd January, from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. Funeral Mass will take place in The Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish, at 11.00am on Friday, 23rd January, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Eardley, née Swift, formerly of 27 Glenview Drive, Killygoan, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 21st January 2026, peacefully in Drumbear Nursing Home, Monaghan, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Myles, her parents Eugene and Alice Swift, her brother Tony and her sister Maureen O'Donoghue.
Cherished and much loved mother of Brian (Norma) and Janice. Bernie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughter, son, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren, Aoibhe and Kara, her siblings Eugene (Anna), Brian (Tawnie), Eilish (John Cagney), Martin (Imelda) and Gerry (Susie), sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved Bernie.

Bernie will repose at Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 on Thursday evening (22nd) from 4pm to 8pm.
Bernie's Funeral Mass will take place in St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan on Saturday 24th at 11am, followed by Cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 1pm.
