Coffee morning for Leon
A coffee morning in aid of the Leon Briody Memorial Fund will take place in Ballyhaise Community Centre tomorrow.
The event is organised by Leon's mam Diane, who set up the fund after her nine-year-old son passed away last year.
Funds raised will go towards erecting memorials in Leon’s favourite places, with the Ballyhaise GAA pitch taking top spot.
Football was very close to Leon's heart, which is why the family created a jersey in his honour after he passed away.
Those who have a Leon jersey are encouraged to wear it if they are attending tomorrow.
There will also be a raffle and plenty of spot prize on the day, and people are encouraged to go, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat, and raise funds for this special cause.
The coffee morning will take place at Ballyhaise Community Centre (H12E5F7) from 11am-1pm.
Donations to the Leon Briody Memorial Fund can be made by via Revolut on 0871275725.
