Robert James Boaden

Robert James Boaden, "Rockcrest", Main Street, Arva, Co Cavan, Thursday 29th January, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Sydney and dear father of Robert (Dawn) and Clive (Elise), his adored grandchildren Samuel, Ben and Jacques.

Removal on Saturday February 7th via his home to arrive at the Church of Ireland, Arva for Funeral Service at 2.00pm. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Jarria House, Donge, Cootehill, Cavan, H16 DH76

Jarrah Folkman, Jarria House, Donge, Cootehill, Co. Cavan aged 14 years old, Monday February 2nd 2026 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family and friends near and far.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at his home (H16 DH76) this Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. Removal leaving his home on Thursday morning at 10.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 11 o’clock funeral mass, followed by burial afterwards in St. Michael’s cemetery.

House Private at all other times please.

Herbie S. Irwin, Connecticut USA and formerly of Seafin, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 1st February 2026. Predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth, brother Billy and sisters Kathleen and Mary.

Deeply regretted by his wife Cathy, sons Stephen and Greg, his daughter Elizabeth, his seven grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Jimmy, Sammy, Tommy, David and John, sisters Charlotte, Ann and Meta, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Anna Greene

(née Mc Cabe)

Finglas, Dublin / Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Anna Greene (Nèe Mc Cabe) 2 Virgina Drive, Finglas, Dublin 11 and formerly Cooltrim, Latton, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan on Monday February 2nd peacefully at St. Francis Hospice, Blancherstown, Dublin.

Predeceased by her loving husband Christopher.

Anna deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, sons John and Tony, daughter Kathleen, daughter in law Michele, son in law Karl, her cherished grandchildren, Jamie, Grace, Charlie, Nadia & Megan, sisters Kathleen and Mary, brothers Paddy and John, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Anna will repose on Thursday afternoon January 5th at her home in Virginia Drive, Finglas, from 4pm until 8pm. Removal from her residence on Friday at 12noon to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Latton, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan for funeral mass at 2pm followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Daniel (Danny) Mc Quaid

6 Gortageeghan Park, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

It is with profound sadness we announce the untimely death of Danny Mc Quaid.

Predeceased by his brothers, Séan, PJ and his father Patrick Curly.

Danny will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Sharon, brother Willow, sisters Terri-Ann and Kirstin, his partner Shauna, Danny's four children Elli-Mae, DJ, Liam and Kia-Lee and his Grandfather Genie. His aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his extended family and wide circle of friends and neighbours.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Danny will repose at Mc Kenna's funeral home Park Street, Monaghan Town, H18X710 on Wednesday 4th from 6pm until 9pm and on Thursday 5th February from 5pm until 10pm. Danny's funeral procession will be leaving Mc Kenna's funeral home via Gortakeeghan at 10:15am to arrive for 11am requiem Mass on Friday 6th February in St. Macartan's Cathedral. Danny will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery next to his brothers Sean and PJ in Latlurcan cemetery. Danny's funeral service will be live streamed via the following link

The death has occurred of Julie Richards-Whitaker, Coas, Tullynahinnera, Castleblayney, Monaghan. Peacefully, in the care of the nurses and staff at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.

Predeceased by her mother Philomena Karachi (Née Hopkins) and her son Graham.

Julie, deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her family, her devoted husband Victor Whitaker, her daughter Lucy Townson, her grandson Sonny, her cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Julie will repose on Thursday 5th February, from 10am until her Celebration of Life ceremony at 11am at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan, followed by cremation afterwards.
