George Bryson

Manchester and Buckley, Wales, and late of Drumbess, Cornafean, Arva, Cavan

The death has occurred of George Samual Bryson, Manchester and Buckley, Wales and late of Drumbess, Cornafean, Arva, Co Cavan, Tuesday February 3rd 2026, peacefully at Wrexham General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Florence and his sister Eva.

Sadly missed by his sons John and David, daughters Karen and Sandra, son-in-law Mike, brothers Victor (Doreen), John (Susan), sister Frances (Noel), his adored grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Funeral will be held in Manchester at a later date.

He spent many happy visits holidaying with his special niece Lorna and the Hamilton and Good Families in Cornafean, Arva, Co Cavan.

Rose Fealy

(née Coleman)

Crann Nua, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Rose Fealy (née Coleman). Crann Nua, Carrickmacross. 3rd February 2026. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, in the wonderful care of the management & staff of Gormanston Wood Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her son Martin and her parents Michael & Mary.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her husband Peter, her sons Michael (Barbara), Paul & Stephen (Sinéad), her much-loved grandchildren; Rose, Clodagh & Eliza and her step-grandchildren Sebastian & Alexander, her brothers; Charlie, Michael & Noel, her sisters-in-law; Miriam, Helen & Rosaleen, her extended family, neighbours & friends.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Rose will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Friday, 6th February, from 3pm until 5:30pm.

Rose's funeral cortège will leave the funeral home on Friday evening, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving for Prayers of Reception at 6:30pm. Rose's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 7th February, at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live here.
