Swords, Dublin / Kingscourt, Cavan
GORMAN (née Clarke), Valerie (Swords, Co. Dublin and formerly of Kingscourt, Co. Cavan) - February 19th, 2026, (peacefully) at home surrounded by her family. Sadly missed by her loving husband Peter, sons Mark and Alan and his partner James, siblings Elmer, Gerry and Rose, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
May she Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords on Friday (20th Feb.) evening from 4 - 5.30 p.m. Removal on Saturday (Feb. 21st) morning to St. Colmcille's Church, Swords arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to Dardistown Crematorium. Phyllis Lynch

We are saddened to announce the death of Philomena (Phyllis) Lynch née O’Brien, Gillbrooke Nursing Home, Fivemiletown/Killasonna, Granard. Co Longford and formerly Mullinderg, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Thursday 19th February peacefully at South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.
Loving daughter of the late John & Mary Ellen O’Brien and devoted wife of the late Noel. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen and Josie.
Beloved mother of Noel (Nessa), John (Martina), Kevin (Jo), Christine (Ben) Warnock. Dearly beloved grandmother of Stephen, Thomas, Ciara, Áine, Adam, David, Hannah, Matthew, Lucia, Niamh, Cormac, Sinead (RIP), & Ben and her 3 great grandchildren. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her brother Sean (Kathleen) and her sister Eilis Brennan, extended family and friends.

Phyllis’ remains will repose at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Friday from 3pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am at St.Patrick’s Church, Corracrin. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery alongside her beloved husband Noel. Funeral mass can be viewed here.

Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Gerry Mc Cabe, 18 Fairview Crescent, Killygoan, Monaghan Town, Thursday the 19th of February, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff in Drumbear Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his wife Pat, daughter Martina, parents Margaret and Larry, sister Eileen Bailey, brother-in-law Paddy Tierney and recently his sister-in-law Rosaleen Howard.

Gerry will be forever loved by his children, Laurence, Liz (Gordy Mc Donagh), Gerard “Bunty”, Dympna (Gerard Murray), Donna (Noel Murray), Gary, and Edel (Colm Reilly), son-in-law Micheal Keating, his cherished and adored 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, his brother, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved him.
Gerry will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) on Thursday (19th) and Friday (20th) from 5pm until 9pm.Gerry’s funeral procession will leave his family home on Saturday morning at 10:30am to arrive to St Macartan’s Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Latlurcan cemetery.
