Cadogan (The Green, Chapel Street, Bandon and late of Cavan and Birmingham) on March 30th 2026, peacefully in Marymount Hospice after a short illness. Mary, beloved wife of Timothy and dear mother of Siobhan, Marie and Michael.

Sadly missed by her loving husband, family, brothers James, Kevin, Brendan and Tommy, son-in-law Tommy, grandchildren Amaya, Elias and Jesus, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Mary will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Bandon (eircode P72WE20) on Easter Monday (6th April) from 5pm followed by Prayers at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday (7th April) at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Bandon which will be livestreamed here, followed by Cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.

The death has occurred of Josie (Joseph) Clarke, Clonmacmara, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, suddenly but peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his family on the 31 March 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Anne and his daughters Laurinda and Veronica.

Deeply regretted by his daughters Serena and Sylvana, his grandchildren and his great grandchildren, his brother Tony, sister in law Camilla, his aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

McEvoy (née McGivney) Una, 30th March 2026, Drimnagh and formerly of Lisagoan, Kingscourt, Cavan, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital and previously in the loving care of the staff of Glenaulin Nursing Home; beloved wife and best friend of the late Mick and loving mam of Kris, David, Marueen, Karen, Liam, Kevin, Deborah and Stephen.

Una will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her 25 grandchildren, her many great grandchildren, brothers Tom, Michael and James, sisters Dyna, Rose, Sheila, Alice and Rita, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Sr. Thérése (Peggy) O’Neill, 94 Selly Park Road, Selly Park, Birmingham B297LL and formerly of Townparks, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan. Sr. Thérése died peacefully on Saturday 21st March in Birmingham Hospital, aged 80. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Ellen O’Neill, sister Roisin (O’ Reilly, Golf Links Road, Cavan), brother Paddy (Dublin), nephews Michael and Brian.

Deeply regretted by sisters Eileen (Mc Govern, Legaginny, Ballinagh), Mary (Rafter, Newtownforbes), brother Michael (Ballyhaise), sisters-in-law Bridie (O’ Neill, Ballyhaise), Teresa (O’ Neill, Dublin), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and Sisters of The Charity of St. Paul, Selly Park, Birmingham.

Bridgie Mc Crarren

Shanmullagh, Clontibret, Monaghan

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Bridgie Mc Crarren. Bridgie passed away peacefully at home on Monday 30th March surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband Packie and her daughter Angela.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Bridgie will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Gwen, her daughters and sons-in-laws, Marie and Brian, Ann and Jim. Her sister Mary Rumsey and sister-in-law Eileen Moen, her grandchildren Conor, Katie, Barry, Adrian, Mark, James, Emma and Richard. Her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Bridgie will repose at the family home in Shanmullagh Clontribret, (H18 TY82), today Tuesday 31 March from 3pm and on Wednesday 1 April from 3pm. Bridgie's Funeral Service/Liturgy of the Word will take place on Holy Thursday at 2pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception St Mary’s, Clontibret, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
