Cavan man introduced as solicitor to Longford court

Killinkere native Adrian Gillick has been hailed a huge addition to the legal profession after he was formally introduced to Longford District Court earlier this month.

Mr Gillick, who graduated from Maynooth University in 2021 with a Bachelor in Civil Law Degee, majoring in Law and Business, joined local firm Baxter Mimnagh Solicitors in August 2022. He commenced his solicitor traineeship in December 2023. He joined the practice of George Lynch and Sons in Carrick-on-Shannon last September.

Mr Gillick's parents Seán and Breda and girlfriend Willow were present in court when fellow professional Frank Gearty welcomed the Cavan man to the court.

He was welcomed too by An Garda Síochána, the court staff and by Judge Bernadette Owens.
