Man hospitalised for 'non-life-threatening injuries' after two lorries collide on R199

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the R199 at Marahill, between Crossdoney and Killeshandra.

"One male has been brought by ambulance to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries reported at this time," a garda spokesperson stated.

The collision, involving two lorries, occurred at around 12:35pm today. The road remains closed.

"Diversions are being put in place," a Cavan County Council spokesperson stated.
