Emergency Services attend crash near Ballyconnell

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision on the N87 near Ballyconnell. yesterday evening.

The accident occurred at Munlough- between Ballyconnell and Bawnboy- on Friday evening, June 5, at approximately 6:30pm, and prompted a response from local Garda units, ambulance personnel and other emergency responders.

The incident led to some traffic disruption in the area while crews worked to manage the scene and assist those involved.

Motorists travelling along the N87 experienced delays and Gardaí remained at the scene for a period.

The road was later reopened to traffic.
